I began working on these during the early 1970s, but I always saw them in my mind as being animated artworks. I would make a drawing with colored pens, and then use blinking Christmas lights to simulate the color cycling effect I intended. It basicly took the home computer industry nearly 30 years to catch up with my vision. I call them Moving Mandalas...
